Waistcoat Entertainment
Waistcoat Entertainment was established in 2012 while founding director Craig Jobson was studying at The Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS) in Sydney, New South Wales. The aim at Waistcoat is to provide the best quality entertainment to everyone in the family, young and old. This has been the goal since we began making films in 2004; not only do we strive to make the best but we take pride in everything we do. We aren't like any other entertainment company, we want to be different and by providing incredible opportunities to young aspiring entertainers with original projects, the aim is to give these artists the stepping stone they need in order to be noticed.
Although we have primarily focused on film making in the past, we have expanded the company to all aspects of entertainment; which includes film, television, music and live events. We seek original Australian artists either wanting to produce, manage or be in the project; this helps fill the positions both in front and behind the camera.
We believe that by giving these opportunities to young artists it will not only boost their self-esteem and confidence in their entertainment career but also build up the list of projects to add to our Waistcoat collection. We also believe that people learn faster and enjoy it more profoundly if they are involved in an experience rather then be taught about it. By getting involved in a project it not only teaches people but kickstarts the careers of aspiring entertainers. By sticking to our core values and beliefs we have gained fans from all across Sydney and even overseas by broadcasting our films and other projects online. In the near future we hope to host open air screenings for our upcoming projects so that the people involved in these projects get their time in the spotlight and get to see the enjoyment on their fans' faces. Entertainment to us - is a community thing, without a good group of people nothing would get done. It just so happens that everyone who has ever been involved in a Waistcoat project has enjoyed themselves and have learnt a thing or two that has then lead to bigger things in their careers.
With almost 15 years of learning and experiences we hope that Waistcoat Entertainment will become Australia's next big entertainment company. Starting out as a young boy's dream has now become a young man's reality - by just visiting this website it puts a smile on our faces as this was once the dream, now that it is real we hope to inspire and encourage all who have a goal, to get out there and start chasing that dream - who knows where you might be in 15 years time!

Craig Jobson - CEO & Founder
Craig Jobson founded the company in 2012, but began making movies in 2004. In all that time he has taught himself and others the tricks of the trade. With a few short films, a couple of indie features and a web series Craig's goal of becoming Australia's next big Producer/Director is almost accomplished.
Rowan Benson - Chief Operations Officer
Rowan's has come aboard the Waistcoat team this year and had undertaken the role of our Chief Operations Officer. Along with that role he is also a director and writer for Waistcoat projects, and also produces his own independent films. He will work alongside Jobson in building the company, and teaching young people Film & Acting.
